Portable timber milling
We have the ability to cut accurate timber where the tree falls. All we leave behind is sawdust!
The portable milling machine can be carried by hand into the most remote locations to accurately cut the timber required for on-site works, or to make extraction easier.
This approach was recently used to good effect in a project at Stoneycliff Wood.
A range of sized timber can be cut to help with footpath edging, boardwalks, fencing, bridges etc. Our portable milling equipment can handle trees up to 450mm in diameter.
Fences and screens using planked timber make a beautiful and sustainable feature to any garden.
We can also advise on storage and drying times.
