Working with Schools
Wildbanks Conservation works with schools to help them make the most of their own outdoor resources and enhance environmental education within the school. We undertake a wide range of environmental activities such as creating nature trails and building outdoor classrooms.
Workshops
We also offer workshops on a wide range of topics designed to educate and enthuse. We have created 'bug homes', planted wildflowers, collected and propagated tree seeds, splashed through pond dipping and hunted for mini-beasts. Many activities are easily integrated into the National Curriculum and can often be tailor-made to suit a given topic.
Funding
Our considerable experience in fundraising and securing grants enables us to deliver environmental improvements and educational programmes at minimal cost to the school. Our aim is that the only cost to the school is the time taken to submit funding applications; the resulting grants would then cover all costs for the works and activities.
