Improving your schools grounds
No matter what size grounds you have, we can help you turn it into an exciting, attractive and valuable resource for curriculum based or extra-curricular outdoor learning. Working with pupils to cultivate their ideas and by including them at every stage we can help your ideas come alive.
What ever you want, we can build and install it ourselves. Seen something you like? Let us know and we can probably make it or get it cheaper. If you have some space but no ideas why not arrange a free consultation and let us provide you with ideas and prices with absolutely no obligation? Please contact us or view our gallery page for lots of examples of projects and features built and installed by Wildbanks Conservation.
All staff within Wildbanks Conservation have passed an Enhanced DBS Criminal Records check and are experienced at working with children and enthusing them in the projects we create. We hold all appropriate insurances and are CHAS accredited which means our Health and Safety systems and policies have been checked to industry standards.
Some examples of what we can create:
- Outdoor classrooms and Amphitheatres
- Nature trails and Wild Child Gardens
- Bird hides and feeding stations
- Raised beds and kitchen gardens
- Ponds and dipping platforms
- Mud kitchens
We offer environmental workshops on a wide range of themes either as a planned programme or one off sessions. All of our activities are linked to the National Curriculum and can be tailored to fit within a given subject or time scale whilst also taking into account the age and capabilities of the students and the resources of the school or community group.
We understand that schools and community groups have very tight budgets. Our considerable experience in writing and securing grant applications can often help towards part funding projects as part of a grant scheme.
We can prepare funding applications on your behalf and provide itemised budgets, often required by funding bodies.
Are you are a community group or charity managing a green space for public enjoyment or for the benefit of wildlife? We can work with yourselves to design management objectives and then deliver practical management. Works could include footpath improvements, tree management, installing interpretative materials or habitat improvements. We have worked with community groups for 15 years and always like to build community days into our projects so volunteers have the opportunity to participate as much as possible. This promotes ownership of the space and assists in its sustainability.
No project too small or too big
